ASUS 1015PX-MU17 Netbook – made my purchase depending on the opinions on line.I used to private an ACER which needed to be change since it had gotten gradual & old. I only started using the ASUS laptop which I purchased from Amazon, regularly a few weeks ago so I have just been noticing a lot of flaws esp. the right & left click bar (whatever you call it)which is so difficult & awkward to manipulate with your finger in order for it to function. My friend who I allowed to use the laptop for a few hours also gave the same observation without me hinting it so I was able to confirm the problem. She said “This computer is too much work to operate.”. The bar has to actually be pressed forcefully in order for it to click down. Another problem is that while I was typing on numerous times the texts gets highligted and sometimes pointer jumps out and moves in between another line. Also the screen sometimes move up & down without me doing it. Another problem is that while I was chatting on line, the chat box keep closing in the middle of me typing which is very annoying & frustrating. There were also times when I was veiwing my picture file & the pictures just started to go on a auto veiwing mode. With all of this problems at this point when the laptop is practically brand new, I am worried about it not having anymore problems inthe longer run. I trust that the battery charge last long which is a good feature, I like the overall appearance, the size & weight is good for what I needed but there is just too many little thing that makes it difficult and frustrating to work with. I hate to, due to the fact of the hassle involved,but I am returning my purchase.
