Candida Albicans is a naturally occurring form of yeast found in the human body and is mostly located in the digestive system.

1. Sugar, especially refined.

Foods that contain sugars, especially refined sugars, should be removed from your diet as much as possible, and from cooking completely.

Refined sugars such as corn syrup, maple syrup, granulated white sugar, brown sugar and molasses help to encourage the growth of yeast.

So when looking to purchase food items from your local store to prepare a meal with it is important that check the ingredients on the label.

Also, avoid using fruit and fruit juices in recipes as these contain naturally high levels of fruit sugar (fructose), which again can promote Candida Albicans growth in the body.

Finally, avoid recipes that contain alcohol. Alcohol has a high level of sugar as well as being fermented from yeast.

2. Yeast

All food products, which contain yeast such as muffins, breads and crackers, need to be avoided.

These products not only contain sugar but also yeast, which can help to promote the growth of the yeast that causes Candida Albicans.
