I ordered this HP Pavilion DV6-2162NR 15.6-Inch Black Laptop–Up to 4.25 Hours of Battery Life for my wife to substitute her 3 year old Toshiba. It's 100% her computer system but she places almost everything technical in our lives on me and then holds me accountable for its performance. My wife is brutal on electronics and her laptop is no exception. The Toshiba had a Very hard everyday living and ticked along flawlessly right up until the previous couple of months. Following wasting $200 over a failed repair (hard drive) I made a decision it was more affordable to change it than to nurse it together. I to begin with went buying for yet another Toshiba and frankly, I feel like I will be writing a 5 star evaluation for a Toshiba if it hadn't can come down to a $150 cost difference. I was ready to work with the competing Toshiba at a retailer, but when I went to Amazon I determined this HP. Almost identical in performance and look; aside from a couple of keyboard control characteristics they had been the exact same.

I bought the HP, Amazon shipped it FedEX and it showed up to Fairbanks Alaska in less than 48 several hours (used common shipping, very little specific). She loves it, charged it up also it performs flawlessly and very much superior than my 8 month good old Dell XPS (Argh, never again…long story). I haven't attempted to load Workplace 2007 yet, but suspect from my exploration on 64 tad devices, it is going to perform good. Neither an individual of us cares for the bubble scheme and thinks it detracts from your professional glimpse in the rest of the finish (petty, I know).

The mouse pad runs completely and I specifically just like the keyboard layout and feel of the keys. I Really much like the amount pad devoid of possessing to buy a 17+ inch program which can be obviously common now.

4 USB ports, 1 HDMI output, a good LCD display and Graphics card…zero to complain about. Oh, and Windows seven runs extremely nicely.
