Review: Garmin Nuvi 295W
Garmin Nuvi 295W 3.5-Inch Widescreen Wi-Fi Portable GPS Navigator – Retain in mind that GPS units are seldom exact, and so they all have their own nuances. For the most part, they’re going to get you to where you should go. But they’re going to shed satellite sign, and from time to time are off. At times, tall buildings will lead to interference and parking garages could be a challenge. New roads are built all the time. Streets adjust from 2 solution to 1 solution to dead conclude constantly. GPS maps are never around date and accurate. Corporations listed beneath points of curiosity aren’t constantly around date. On several on ramp & off ramp freeway systems, they don’t constantly know what lane you’re in. GPS will give you directions to enter the freeway on the right, merge 5 lanes over, and exit on the left; despite the fact that you have to do it in beneath 100 yards & couldn’t do that without causing a collision.
You buy a GPS for one reason. You need it to get you somewhere. So don’t cry about the 3 megapixel camera with no flash. Yeah, I know: your kid’s pink toy Barbie camera is 5 MP and takes better pictures. The little screen sucks for looking at pictures, and the sound quality makes it a terrible MP3 player. Let’s face it, your computer does a much better job of surfing the web and sending e-mail too. Don’t be an idiot. Of course there are better devices. Those devices were made for those functions. Forget about the rest of that stuff. Listen to music on your iPod and take pictures with a real camera. You bought a bargain basement priced GPS. Just use it to get you from point A to B, and you’ve gotten your money’s worth.
